Ruto is known for his generosity, which has repeatedly been
questioned by his critics, some of whom suspect they are proceeds of
corruption.
Speaking in Tharaka Nithi on Thursday where he was drumming
support for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’spresidential bid, Munya the
money Ruto is bribing voters is the money looted from the public coffers.
“You cannot be looting from the government, dam projects and
state departments and then dishing out the same money to the people while
claiming to love them," Munya said.
Munya likened Ruto to a man chopping off a dog's tail then
roasting the tail and taking it back to the same dog while lying to the pet
that it is a treat.
Munya concluded by saying that is the reason he cannot join
Ruto and has decided to remain with Raila whom he expressed confidence he will
be the fifth President of Kenya in August.
