Findings Of A New Opinion Poll After Raila Odinga Picked Martha Karua As His Running Mate and Ruto and Gachagua

Monday May 16, 2022-A new survey conducted by Radio Africa Group has shown the coalition that will win the August 9^th if elections are conducted today.

On Sunday, Deputy President William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza Alliance picked Mathira Member of Parliament, Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate.

On Monday, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga of Azimio La Umoja Alliance picked Narc Kenya chairperson, Martha Karua as his running mate.

Immediately after the two coalitions named their running mate, Radio Africa conducted an online poll and asked Kenyans on which coalition will they support in August.

Over 19,000 Kenyans participated in the poll and 51.6 percent stated they will support the Ruto-Rigathi ticket during the August poll.

40.8 percent of the respondents said they will support Raila –the Karua ticket while 3.7 percent said they will support the Kalonzo Musyoka-Sunkuli ticket. 3.5 percent stated they will support none of the above.
