Huge Blow To Raila Odinga As Former Kiambu Governor James Nyoro Dumps Azimio For Ruto

Thursday December 15, 2022-Azimio One Kenya Alliance coalition leader, Raila Odinga, has suffered a huge blow after former Kiambu Governor, James Nyoro dumped his alliance and joined President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Nyoro, who was accompanied by Azimio leaders from Kiambu County who lost in the last election, said said they have agreed to support the government and don't want to be in the opposition.

“We acknowledge that it is now time to develop and transform this nation especially our economy for the benefit of our people,” Nyoro said.

Other leaders who dumped Azimio included,Bishop David Kariuki Ngari, Damaris Waiganjo, Joyce Ngugi,  Stephen Kigathi who vied for Kikuyu seat and various MCA aspirants.

The leaders assured the President and his deputy of their loyalty and support.

“As the President and his deputy continue to transform the country we assure them of our sincere loyalty,” they said.
