Speaking during a tour of Nyeri on Tuesday Martha
Karua reiterated that only under the leadership of Odinga would the country
achieve real reforms and be freed from the shackles of corruption.
She recounted her time in leadership as well as that of
Odinga, said they have over time proven to Kenyans their competency and
integrity in undertaking government roles.
She said she is a hardworking woman and she will emulate the
steps of late President Mwai Kibaki who revived Kenya’s economy.
“When I was the Minister of Water in the late President
Kibaki’s government, I worked hard to revamp the sector and the same was
witnessed later in the Justice Ministry,” she said.
“Mnaelewa mimi ni mchapa kazi, mkituona kwa timu ya Raila
mjue kuwa tuko na wachapa kazi,”
