Miguna Miguna Says Raila Odinga Surrended When He Accepted Ruto Deal

Monday, April 3, 2023-Controversial lawyer, Miguna Miguna has attacked Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for suspending his weekly demos and agreeing to have a dialogue with President William Ruto

Raila suspended the demos on Sunday after President William Ruto said he is ready to engage with the opposition and agree together on the way forward.

During his speech, Ruto defended his administration's record and said there could be bipartisan reform to the election commission - one of the opposition's central demands.

Odinga said he saw Ruto's statement as an olive branch and a "positive development" and suspended the violent demos that have claimed the lives of three people and left over 460 Kenyans injured.

Commenting on social media after Raila suspended the demos, Miguna Miguna termed Raila Odinga a conman and maintained that he will never become President of Kenya.

“The conman has surrendered. Some of us knew this was coming. The great news is that this time, he got no #HandChieth. No sirens. No motorcades. No red carpets. Even if Oburu Oginga becomes the IEBC chair, the conman will NEVER be President of Kenya!,” Miguna wrote on his Twitter page.
