Wednesday, December 7, 2022-President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto was on Wednesday forced to cut short her speech at Daystar University after one student heckled her.
Charlene was at the University to give them a lecture on how
she survived when she was a student there.
The President‘s daughter told students that she used to sell
smokies and kachumbari when she was a student there and said it was a very
profitable business.
She also told the students that she started the smokie
business after her father advised her to start a small business.
“I sold smokies while at the university. I was in Daystar
University, and smokie kachumbari was the only thing that was selling, I was
encouraged to take up the small business,” Charlene stated.
However, things went south after one student interrupted and
shouted ‘Uongo' meaning lies.
She didn’t proceed with her speech after the student yelled
at her.
