Wednesday, November 2, 2022-Azimio One Kenya Alliance party leader, Raila Odinga has spoken after President William Ruto nominated 70 percent Kalenjins as Principal Secretaries in his government.
The 51-member list was full of Kalenjins and was not
reflecting the face of Kenya.
Reacting to the list, Raila Odinga through his campaign
spokesman, Prof Makau Mutua said “On PS nominees, let those who have eyes see,
and those with ears hear,"
Mutua joins the list of notable individuals criticising the
President on his latest appointments.
Narok County Senator Ledama Ole Kina came out strongly to
disagree with the list arguing that it was not portraying the face of Kenya.
He also said he had warned Kenyans against voting for the
Kenya Kwanza government since it was not for Mama Mboga and Bodaboda riders but
for a few tribesmen and women to enrich themselves.
“We told you the KK
@WilliamsRutogovernment will be a Kalenjin and Kikuyu affair, not a Kenyan
affair not -Mama Mboga- “bottom-up” my foot “!- … look at the PS list? …. You
asked for it you will cry about it … na Bado they will amend the constitution.
I told you the moment is here!”Ole Kina wrote on his Twitter page.
