Wednesday, November 2, 2022-Narc Kenya chairperson, Martha Karua has today shared her thoughts after the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Noordin Haji dropped the corruption case facing Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
When dropping the case, Haji said the case had no evidence
and accused former Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss, George
Kinoti of forging evidence to implicate Gachagua.
However, Karua who was having an interview with Spice FM on Wednesday asked DPP Noordin Haji to tell Kenyans
why he is saying there is no evidence in Gachagua’s case yet the court ordered
his money frozen after he was unable to explain how he got the billions.
"DPP Haji, what are you telling us about the court that
ordered the forfeiture of Gachagua's money because he could not explain how he
got it?"Karua asked.
She concluded by asking Haji to resign or be fired from
office for embarrassing Kenyans.
