Raila Odinga Reveals What Chebukati Told Him Before Declaring Ruto The Winner Of The August 9th Presidential Election

Thursday, December 8, 2022-Azimio One Kenya Alliance supremo, Raila Odinga has maintained his stand that their victory was taken from them by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati.

Speaking at a well-attended rally in Kamukunji Grounds in Nairobi on Wednesday Raila alleged that the IEBC chairman told him that the results were verified by other commissioners and that he trusted them.

“My assistant has counted the votes, and I believe they are accurate," Raila said this is what Chebukati told him.

The former Prime Minister further alleged that he had questioned the source of the results announced that made William Ruto defeat him but Chebukati said nothing.

"We asked him where he got the results from but he summarily ignored us without giving any audience to us," Raila said.

On the other hand, Raila maintained that soon the truth will be out and everybody will witness how the victory was snatched from them.
